Tuesday, June 1 at 7pm, Book Discussion with Gerry Valentine ’81聽
Gerry Valentine inspires people to build resilience鈥攖o overcome setbacks, to look at challenges in new ways, and to understand that adversity can become a source of resilience. Gerry is a public speaker, executive coach, and business advisor with extensive experience as a Fortune 100 leader. His first book The Thriving Mindset: Tools for Empowerment in a Disruptive World is a hands-on guide on how to turn the disruption of today鈥檚 world into your advantage.
Wednesday, June 2 at 7pm, Conversation with Jonathan Bach 鈥�15
What is it like to work behind the scenes of a Broadway Show? Talk with Jonathan Bach who has worked for several years as a stage manager for such Broadway productions as Wicked, A Christmas Carol, and Straight White Men.
Thursday, June 3 at 7pm, Book Discussion with Francine Prose ’64
Award winning novelist, short story writer, essayist and critic will discuss her upcoming novel, The Vixen. The recipient of numerous grants and honors, including a Guggenheim and a Fulbright, a Director鈥檚 Fellow at the Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library, Prose is a former president of PEN American Center, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Friday, June 4 at 6:30pm, All Alumni Gathering and Trivia Night
Meet with and hear from Head of School, Crissy C谩ceres, about BFS today and our plans for the future. Then team up with your classmates to outsmart one another in a friendly trivia competition.
Saturday, June 5 at 11am, Sing-a-long with Tony Soll
Many of you remember Tony Soll, long time middle school teacher, and his love of all things music! Bring the little ones in your life (or just bring yourself!) for a fun morning of singing! All ages are welcome, recommended for children 0-8.
Monday, June 7 at 6pm, Class of 2021 Commencement Livestream
Welcome the newest members of the alumni community as they cross the stage to receive their BFS diploma. Two alumni speakers will be featured.
